Your Living Tribute

Our Mother, Irene lived to the age of 98. I was her care-giver for the final 5 years of her life. My brother Bob has been producing Video Tributes for celebrities like Clint Eastwood, President's Reagan & Ford, Reverend Billy Graham, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and dozens more for over 25 years.

As our Mother was aging, I encouraged brother Bob to co-produce a Living Legacy for her. Because of my skill in organizing what would have been a very difficult project, we created a Video Heirloom that will be passed down for generations to come. Mom was 85 at the time and in complete control of her faculties and razor sharp in sharing her life stories and lessons learned.

In celebration of her 90th Birthday, the entire family (20 of us) took a weekend cruise and arranged for a private room where brother Bob had each of us sit with Mom for 5 minutes and share our love for her and ask one personal question about her life. Capturing all of this on video, we created, Your Living Tribute.

The last segment of Irene's Living Legacy was a very moving one. I asked her, "Mom, how do you want to be remembered when God calls you to Heaven?" This video was shown at both of her Memorial Services in California and our native, Chicago. Today that service is offered separately as Your Final Words.
